Digital Codes have gone out!

We have sent out the Digital Maps

You will receive an email form DriveThruRPG with a link with your code. We sent out in batches yesterday so the emails are either waiting for you or on route!

What you will have - 

In the Towns & Taverns title you will find

• The maps from the 2 modular books

Getting your content -

• Click the link in the email from DriveThruRPG.
• This will automatically add the digital content to your DriveThruRPG Library. Here you can store it to download at your leisure.
• You will be prompted to open a DriveThruRPG account if you do not already have one. This is free.
• If you have ordered add-on digital content this will appear as bundles of individual files (except the Digital Dungeon which is one title). Depending on what you have ordered you may find a large number of files appear at once. Remember there is no time limit for downloading them and the codes don't expire (although they are single use) so you can store the files in DriveThruRPG for as long as you like, no rush to download.

Top Tips

The files are available in 2 formats. A higher resolution for print at home and a smaller version for online VTT. Some maps also have a gridless version (although not all as we build a grid into many of our designs as opposed to using an overlay)

To Print at home you can either shrink the size to fit your printer paper or use an image splitting program to print on multiple sheets. Many free ones are available online so you can chose one which fits your set up.

We aren't finished yet though! We have rushed this out so you can play online asap, we're still finalising and will add in soon - 

• The Maps from the Little Book
• All the sticker designs as tokens
• Random Encounter Generator
• A one shot adventure module to play in the books.

These will appear automatically in your library when we add them if you have added the Towns & Taverns title using the link we sent out, we'll post updates so you know when new content is added.

If you cannot find your link - 

• Check your spam/promotions/clutter/junk folders

(I emphasise this as I know the emails go out and are received by mail servers as I can see the back end, however they can go into strange folders and I have previously had a lot of people asking for the codes. I keep a master list and I can message codes on KS if lost, however there will be a delay if hundreds all ask at once as I work through them all).

• Send me a direct message on Kickstarter (comments do not link directly to your backer profiles and if I have multiple backers with the same name and profile pic I cannot see which you are)

Locking surveys and sending out digital content

What to expect on Monday when we lock down completed surveys, charge cards and send out the digital content.

We now have 89% of surveys completed, thank you all so much that means we've now placed our print order!

On Monday we'll be locking down completed surveys. This means that you won't be able to change your order. We will also be charging cards for those of you paying by credit card.

Monday is also when we will send out the first Towns & taverns digital content to all backers and any digital add-ons you have ordered.

Important points - 

• The links to Digital content will come from DriveThruRPG on Monday
• Please check all the usual email folders for the link before you report it as missing!

Good Morning Adventurers!

I will be popping updates out at least once per week through this process so you're fully to to date with what we're up to.

Now we have 86% of surveys completed (honestly you guys are awesome!) we are now in a position to do our projections for stock numbers and confirm the order with the factory. This is a big step! 

Matt is still full speed ahead on finishing the designs. Ever the perfectionist he is going through everything to make sure it's how he wants it, we will then get a factory sample produced. This is where we go through all the designs and colours with a fine tooth comb! We'll share pictures when it arrives so you can see it when we do!

While the manufacturers wait for us to approve/amend the factory sample we will get them started printing the add-on purchases of existing books you have added to your orders!

Then we'll move onto the decals once the book print run has begun. Printing the books is actually quite an in depth process that starts with dehumidification of the custom paper stock before printing, laminating, cutting and finishing. Our factory have a very low error rate as they do a lot of checking at every stage, however this does take time. We will always give our manufacturers the time they need to produce a top quality product.

We can't wait to get the production ball rolling!

Design Example

Whilst the maps for the main book set get completed ready for the print samples and for digital delivery, we'd like to show you the finished versions of 'Village Walls' and 'Mead Hall' and how they can either be used to make a stockaded compound or to add walls to a village; alongside all the other possible combinations... 

These two designs can be combined with Village Streets (Volume 1 and Volume 2) to create a large fortified village area, for example:

The next steps - Surveys, charging and digital rewards

Wow, over 54% of you have already completed your surveys, which is awesome!

We're online here to answer any questions you may have as we move through the process, but now seems like a good time to run through what we're up to and what the next steps are.

What we're up to -

Matt has eagerly retreated to the design studio to finish the maps for Towns & Taverns. Once we're happy we will order the final print design samples to approve, and once this happens the print run begins! I have popped another finished map on the bottom of this update so you can see what Matt is up to. We are expecting to have the maps finished and sample ordered at the end of April. This is also when we will share the digital versions of the maps with you via DriveThruRPG.

It is likely that the sticker designs (all 3 sets of which will be included as tokens in the Digital Towns & Taverns package) will not be ready to be included straight away, we will add these in once they are signed off (you won't need to do anything, they'll appear in your library in the title on DriveThruRPG automatically). Similarly the encounter generator will also be added by us at a later date once Matt has written and proofed it. We're waiting to see what JC's progress is on the module to see if that will be ready. So the package you receive initially will be the digital maps and we will add everything else in as it is signed off.

Whats happening with the surveys - 

Over 56% of you have filled in your surveys, which is amazing! If you selected to pay with PayPal you will already have paid for everything. If you entered card details we will be charging your cards on April 27. This is also when we will lock all the completed surveys and send any add-on digital content out.

Don't worry if your survey isn't completed by April 27, we will be locking and charging every 2 weeks through to fulfilment.

We will not lock addresses until the books are "on the water" on their way to the fulfilment hubs so you will be able to amend your postage details for a while yet.

We have now checked, double checked and approved the BackerKit survey and it's going out to everyone now!

I can't find my survey link?

Where are my digital Maps?

The digital maps will be sent our via DriveThruRPG by the end of April. You will receive your Syrinscape digital code right after you complete your survey.

I can only see digital Add on Purchases. How do I add on Physical products?

In order to select physical optional purchases you must back at a physical reward level, so you'd need to change or select a pledge level.

How do I change or select a pledge level?

You can change or select your pledge level on the first page where the text reads "Thanks for supporting our campaign! Now its time to confirm your exact order details". Under the green "Get Started" button there is a link to change pledge. You can also click on any page near the top where it says 'Your Pledge level'.

When do I get charged for the shipping and add-on purchases?

Once you have completed your survey and inputted your card/Paypal details. PayPal transfers immediately, for credit card purchases we will be locking & charging surveys in 2 week waves starting 27 April.
