Update 4/6/20 - Housekeeping and a progress update.

We are still in the stage where we do not have much new news so I will quickly recap where we are.

Tracking for the factory sample shows it will be delivered Monday so we're so excited to show that to you all!! I will pop a video out as soon as I get my hands on it!

Progress on all the add-on decal designs is well underway and they are coming along nicely! Here's a couple of 4" square decals from the Magic Effects set. 

Once Matt has signed off all the sticker designs and the factory print sample and those are underway, he will start writing the generator and laying out the adventure module, which has been drafted and tested but needs final proofing and laying out.

The factory are busy printing and shipping all the optional purchases you guys have ordered and we're working with our fulfilment partners and warehouse partners to get stock in the right place and ready for when Towns & Taverns is printed.

In terms of coronovirus and its impact I have the following to recap on how we're working to reduce the impact on this project - 

• Our factory is unaffected and on schedule
• International sea freight is unaffected (express air shipping is subject to surcharge and delay which is why its taken to long to see the factory sample!)
• Our Fulfilment partners  (who will pick, pack and post to you when the time comes) are currently working at reduced capacities. This means we're going to start working with them early to understand what their capacity is and how this may affect this project. As we are still a way off fulfilment and the situation is improving right now this may not be an issue when we come to send you your books. The health and safety of the guys in the warehouses is really important to us and we'll be working with them closely going forwards.
• We're printing all the existing books which you guys have ordered ahead of time and shipping those early to our warehouses to have everything ready to go once Towns & Taverns arrives.

And the usual housekeeping - 

Surveys - In order to receive your rewards we will need you to complete the survey sent out last month from BackerKit. If you cannot find the email please message me and I will send you your link.

Digital Content - We have sent out the code links to the digital title to DriveThruRPG. The email would have come directly from DriveThruRPG (if you cannot spot if please check all the usual folders these things can end up in. If you're still missing it please drop me a message and I will send you your link).

Please note the tokens will be added to the digital title when we finish and approve the artwork. They will appear automatically when we add them in. Don't worry, we'll send out an update so you know when they're there too.

We remain on hand to answer any queries you may have.

Update 28/5/2020 - Some more tokens!

We are still waiting for the final pre-production samples to arrive (rather impatiently I must say, we just can't wait to see them in the flesh!!!) They are due with us early next week.

In the meantime we have been designing tokens, laying out the decal sheets and as usual trying to narrow down all our ideas into the most popular, usable and reusable designs which fit on the sheets.

Rooftops -

Here's some examples of the style of rooftops we're currently drawing, and although there will be some 'flatter' roofs in the mix, we like to think a good rooftop chase is more exiting on sloping roofs, especially with loose roof tiles...

How are you guys finding your Syrinscape soundtrack? We absolutely love it!

Can't see it? Your unique Syrinscape code was sent to you by Backerkit and you can find it under Digital Rewards in your Backerkit survey.

Now seems like a good time to reintroduce Syrinscape who we have partnered with to bring you the Bustling Port Town Soundscape! For us it has really captured what Towns & Taverns will be like to play through.

Here at Loke HQ we've been huge fans of theirs for a while now, and its truly a pleasure to be able to work with them on this project.

For those of you who are not aware, Syrinscape is a revolutionary sound design app that adds evocative and immersive ambient background sound and a movie-like soundtrack to your tabletop RPG games. Syrinscape conjures every aural landscape imaginable, from ethereal forests and stony shorelines to dank vermin-filled dungeons and the spooky depths of the underdark.

The user interface has been specifically designed for GMs to help them keep their attention on the players, while keeping the attention of the players focused on the game.

A look at some sticker artwork & Housekeeping update - Please complete your survey and check you have your digital content!

While we haven't a huge amount to add to last weeks update we want to keep you fully up to date with what has been happening. 

Now we have signed off the maps for both Book volumes and the Little Book we have ordered our pre-production samples and when these arrive and are approved we will green light the print run! We have already started printing all the optional book purchases.

So next for Matt is the decals! We'll be producing 3 pack of decals - Town Trimmings, Magic Effects and War & Siege.

These designs below are from Town Trimmings, so you can see where we're going with this!

We have added the little book maps to DriveThruRPG

We have now approved and released the maps for the Little Book!

This means we have added the maps into the Towns & Taverns title on DriveThru. They will now appear automatically in your library.

If you can't see them, try sorting your library by update and they should pop up!

If you haven't yet added the Towns & Taverns title to DriveThruRPG then you can do this using the code emailed out last Monday from DriveThruRPG.
